Egidio Cremonesi

Riseria Cremonesi was founded in 1951 by Egidio Evelino Cremonesi, a man with a strong sense of duty, who belonged to a family that had already been running a milling business since the 1920s.  
The company has always been located in Bovolone, on the Verona plain, an area where the tradition of top-quality rice production goes back a long way: the particular characteristics of the Vialone Nano variety make it especially suitable for preparing risotto dishes.
Riseria Cremonesi is run as a family business to this day, handing down from one generation to the next a culture and specialised knowledge of the product that few others in Italy can boast.
The company from Verona is expanding rapidly, thanks not only to an extension in the production area, but also to the on-going investments in technological innovation and quality improvement.
Today the company is managed by the new generation, in the person of Tommaso Cremonesi, who has inherited Egidio’s passion for what he does, accompanied daily by wise advice based on his lengthy experience.
